Responsibilities in your new role as Head Waiter:
- Supervise all waiting staff, ensuring everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
- Assign sections or tables to individual servers and manage break schedules.
- Act as the main point of contact between kitchen staff and servers.
- Ensure that tables are perfectly set with appropriate place settings, decorations, and seating arrangements.
- Run pre-service briefings to communicate event schedules, special requests, and menu details.
- Check that all equipment, linens, and service stations are clean and orderly.
