Join us as a Learning Disability Support Worker and help create a future where learning disabled people can live their best lives. We understand that life can be complicated for everyone. However, some individuals face additional barriers that prevent them from working towards their dreams. Many learning disabled people are not heard when it comes to the support they need. Some are unable to decide what they do for work, how to spend or save their money, or try out new hobbies they might love.

What we offer you:
- Location: Preston
- Salary: £12.51 per hour
- Working hours: Flexible to suit you and those you support. Sleep-in shifts paid at £49.08 plus over 12.07% holiday pay.
- Generous holidays: 33 days of annual leave, including eight statutory bank holidays.
- Pay incentives: 10% overtime allowance, 20% Bank Holiday allowance, 50% extra for key dates over Christmas.
- Training & development: Fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care while earning.

What you’ll be doing:
Every day is different. Supporting someone with shopping, outdoor adventures, personal care, attending gigs, teaching money management, and more. Your role is to support individuals in discovering new interests, achieving goals, and maintaining relationships with family and friends. You’ll provide high-quality care and support for learning disabled adults by listening to their needs, assisting with daily tasks like medication and cooking, and helping build their confidence to explore new adventures. You will work various shifts to balance your work and home life.
