We are seeking a Lab Assistant to:
- Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages, ensuring proper patient identification and specimen labeling.
- Complete specimen receiving and processing, load them onto instruments or perform kit testing, and handle instrument maintenance (monitoring temperatures, reagents) and clerical duties (filing, mailing, faxing).
- Check-in patients and enter laboratory test orders in the laboratory information system.
- Interact daily with pathologists, physicians, technologists, clinical staff, nursing personnel, and patients.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Training program with clinical rotation.
Work Experience
- Minimum 6 months of Phlebotomy and Specimen Processing experience required.
- 1 year of experience in phlebotomy and processing preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
- Phlebotomist certification (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent preferred.
- Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) certification (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent preferred.
