Hi! I am Gianna, the owner of Wag This Way. I am seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join my growing team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide exceptional care for dogs of all breeds and sizes. This role requires someone who is reliable, energetic, and enjoys spending time outdoors while ensuring the safety and well-being of our furry clients.

Shifts Needed

Monday-Friday 7:30-3pm, about 4-6 hour shifts.

Duties

Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Manage up to two dogs during walks, maintaining control and attention to each pet.
Provide basic training commands during walks to reinforce good behavior.
Report any behavioral issues or health concerns observed during walks to the pet owner.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning up after the dogs.
Communicate effectively with the manager regarding dogs\’ behavior and needs.
Assist with additional pet care tasks as needed, such as feeding or administering medication (oral pills, eye drops, occasional insulin injections).

Typical Day

You will drive from your home to your first walk. You will be paid from the start of each walk until the end of your last walk of the day. On average, you will have 4-6 walks a day. Some walks may involve picking up 1-2 dogs and driving to a trail or dog park; others may involve walking in a client\’s neighborhood or local area. Walks are either 30 or 60 minutes.
