An opportunity has arisen for a procurement professional to join Lancashire Fire and Rescue, an inclusive and value driven public sector organisation with an outstanding organisational culture. We offer free car parking, a generous pension and generous annual leave.
We are looking for an additional Procurement Officer to join our small and talented procurement team. Our procurement team is critical to the success of our organisation and this role will help us ensure we have effective and efficient procurement of goods and services, meet Public Procurement Regulations and Authority policies and support regional and national collaborations. Itβs an exciting time to be joining the team as the successful candidate will contribute to how we procure in the future as we implement the changes in the new Procurement Act.
The role will allow the successful candidate to develop, train and progress through an established career structure whilst achieving their professional procurement qualification. We will support training and the CIPS qualification training for the successful candidate.
