At E.ON, we’re more than a provider of gas and electricity, we’re shaping a cleaner, more sustainable energy future. Join us as an apprentice and you’ll play an important role in helping our customers take control of their energy use, whether that’s at home, in their business or as part of a city community.
Embark on a four-year Digital Marketing Apprenticeship and you’ll play a vital role in shaping, designing and executing end-to-end marketing activity, with a keen focus on digitalisation. You’ll work with diverse teams across the business through six-month placements while studying part-time at Nottingham Trent University for a fully-funded BA (Hons) Digital Marketing. During the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to select placements based on your interests and career goals, like:
- Planning and executing digital campaigns (e.g. awareness, lead generation, product launches) and analysing campaign performance through data.
- Using market and customer insights to create strategy and content for various digital channels to connect and engage with our target audiences.
- Creating engaging stories around sustainability and energy solutions which resonate with the target audience and support SEO efforts.
- Optimising the customer journey by analysing user behaviour, improving website functionality and testing digital assets for better engagement.
- Developing a deep understanding of digital advertising and SEO strategies and how to use data to optimise campaigns.
What we need from you:
- 5 GCSE including English Language and Maths at Grade C / 4 or above.
- 104 UCAS points from up to four qualifications (excluding General Studies), BTEC Extended Diploma DMM or an equivalent qualification.
- Applicants who do not meet the standard entry requirements will be considered subject to experience and academic assessment.
Your base location will be our Nottingham office. We operate a hybrid working model, so depending on placements you will be expected in the office 1-3 days a week, with the flexibility to work from home on other days. Company-funded travel will be required, and you may have placement opportunities at other E.ON sites across the UK.
Your academic studies require you to be on campus on day or block release.
We offer a competitive starting salary, with potential for pay progression throughout your apprenticeship based on academic and placement performance. Our benefits package includes a pension scheme, 26 days’ holiday plus bank holidays and 20 flexible benefits options.
You may only apply for one E.ON degree/level 7 apprenticeship scheme, so please choose the one that best aligns with your career goals.
An apprenticeship at E.ON isn’t just about gaining hands-on experience in the workplace, it’s about unlocking your potential and helping you develop into a qualified professional. From day one you’ll be supported by E.ON’s early careers team, your mentor and a buddy from a previous apprenticeship scheme to ensure your journey is as rewarding as it is impactful. And you’ll be joining a diverse and inclusive workplace where your contributions are valued and recognised.
If you’re passionate about digital marketing, sustainability and helping to power a better future, apply today and start your career with E.ON, where your work will help shape a cleaner, smarter and more sustainable energy future. Join us on this journey and make an impact from day one.
Our apprenticeships attract significant interest, and we may close them early if all places are filled.
