Job Summary

We are recruiting for a new Front of House & Events Coordinator to join our small and dedicated team.

Job Description

This role will primarily involve working from Drawing Room\’s front desk as the main point of contact and the public face of the gallery. The responsibilities include ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of Drawing Room\’s public spaces, providing visitor services, engaging with audiences, and collating and analyzing audience data for Arts Council England and other reports. The role also involves event coordination and administrative support for internal events and external hires.

Tannery Arts CIO is a charity that includes a public gallery, Drawing Room, and studio provider, Tannery Arts studios. Located in Bermondsey, one of London\’s most creative areas, we moved into our permanent home in autumn 2023. Our new space features a double-height gallery, a unique library & research centre, a community studio, and artist studios. This new environment offers opportunities to develop long-term community relationships and partnerships with local organizations. We are exploring new income-generating activities, including sponsorship and hires, to support our charitable aims. We are seeking new team members to help us achieve these goals.

Job Details

We anticipate this role could be full-time or part-time (3 or 4 days per week). Please indicate your preferred working pattern in your application.
