People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Sea Freight Administrator to join our well-established client based in Leicester on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering an amazing annual salary of £30,000 and room to grow and progress.
Please note the company are a HMRC approved premises and to comply with industry accreditations we have to complete a 5-year history check and DBS check.

Day to Day Duties
- Making bookings according to quotation/customer requirements
- Submitting customs declarations adhering to HMRC customs requirements
- Processing shipment documentation & information
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Tracking shipments
- Ensuring all tasks, milestones, exceptions are completed in CargoWise system
- Completing all ACR’s and WIP’s
- Completing all other administration as required
- Dealing with problems and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in Freight is essential
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise duties is essential
- Keen team player but must also be able to follow their own initiative
- Must follow company policies and procedures at all times
- Ensure accreditation and company compliance at all times
Desirable Experience
- Experience of using Cargowise software is desirable
