The Role

Are you seeking an opportunity to return to work or balance a role around family commitments? We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Cleaning Technician to join our team at our Chatteris site. This evening-based role is ideal for someone with cleaning experience who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene, particularly in laboratory environments.
About The Position
- Salary: £12.42 p/h
- Location: Chatteris
- Contract: Part Time - 4 months Fixed-Term Contract.
- Contract Details: This is a 20-30 hour per week contract, with hours spread across Monday to Friday. Start and finish times will be discussed and agreed upon with the successful candidate. Shift availability ranges from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
The day to day
- Carrying out daily and weekly cleaning tasks as outlined in the site’s cleaning task log.
- Keeping all areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
- Maintaining accurate and consistent cleaning records with clear, legible handwriting and filing documentation correctly.
- Adhering to all site Quality Management Systems and Health & Safety procedures.
- Reporting any issues or concerns about assigned duties to the Cleaning Supervisor or Facilities Coordinator.
- Assisting with additional tasks as directed by the Facilities Coordinator or Site Management team.
