We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housing Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This office-based position involves leading a team responsible for managing day-to-day property-related issues. The successful candidate will oversee property matters reported by tenants and external support workers in a fast-paced environment, ensuring effective and timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team in the efficient handling of day-to-day property management tasks, including tenant queries and maintenance issues.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to reactive property management issues.
  • Oversee the management of tenant relationships, ensuring clear and professional communication with tenants, support workers, utilities, and landlords.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, promoting Tenant Involvement in shaping the delivery of our services.
  • Manage the selection, development, and performance of team members, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in housing management, particularly in tenant relations and property management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage competing demands.
  • Experience in managing or coordinating Tenant Involvement initiatives.
