Cpack are looking to recruit a Business Administration apprentice to join their team. Cpack is a UK-based specialist packaging machine systems manufacturer. With their in-house design team, all projects are controlled from concept to installation from their premises.
Wage: £14,918.80 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age. National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:45am to 4:15pm, Fridays 7:45am to 1:45pm. 37 hours 30 minutes a week.
Duration: 1 year 6 months.
What you’ll do at work:
- Basic administrative duties, including filing, invoices, emails, use of snipping software.
- Will include elements of marketing, such as use of Photoshop, and assisting the Marketing Executive with basic marketing administration.
- Dealing with shipping of large engineering parts.
Where you’ll work: Progress House Unit 2, Athletic Street, Burnley, Lancashire, BB10 4LP.
Training: Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
College or training organisation: Burnley College.
Your training course: Business administrator (level 3) equal to A level.
Course contents:
- Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation.
- Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem.
- Produces accurate records and documents including emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals.
- Makes recommendations for improvements and presents solutions to management.
- Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures.
- Exercises proactivity and good judgement.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation.
- Demonstrates good communication skills, whether face-to-face, on the telephone, in writing or on digital platforms.
- Completes tasks to a high standard.
- Takes responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, manages priorities and time in order to successfully meet deadlines.
- Uses relevant project management principles and tools to scope, plan, monitor and report.
Your training plan: The apprentice will undertake the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship. Day-release training takes place at Burnley College.
