Head Chef Steve Smith is widely regarded as one of the most inventive and gifted chefs of his generation. Renowned for his modern British cooking, founded on using the finest seasonal ingredients available. Steve has held a Michelin star for the last twenty years, also earning Five AA Rosettes, 8/10 in the Waitrose Good Food Guide, and winning a Catey Award for Chef of the Year in 2014.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Waiter (or as we call it in Latymer, a Chef de Rang) to join the front of house restaurant team and help deliver these amazing dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the smooth running of the restaurant
- Delivering excellent standards of service in a friendly and professional manner to our guests
- Assisting with training and development of our Food & Beverage Assistants
- Assisting in the set up of the restaurant before service, ensuring all required items are stocked and ready
- Seating guests, offering menus and drinks, and providing explanations of the menu when required
- Ensuring the restaurant environment is maintained and cleaned to a high standard during and after service
- Having excellent knowledge of the menus to offer guidance and make recommendations
