As a Data Management Lead Firmwide EMEA Privacy Manager within the Firmwide Chief Data Office team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our global privacy program. Reporting to the Executive Director – Firmwide EMEA Privacy Lead, you will support the execution and development of our privacy program. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to implement privacy strategies that align with our firm's goals. Your role will be essential in ensuring that our privacy practices meet global standards and support our data-driven initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a complex global organization, assisting in the delivery of cross-functional initiatives that drive compliance and innovation. Your expertise will be vital in navigating privacy regulations and fostering a culture of data protection.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting a broad range of projects to enhance the firm's privacy program.
- Supporting the design and implementation of critical programs across multiple privacy domains.
- Providing guidance on privacy requirements for new initiatives.
- Conducting privacy risk assessments and supporting oversight activities.
- Assisting in drafting and managing governance documentation, including policies and procedures.
- Conducting privacy maturity assessments and risk evaluations.
- Developing privacy controls and assisting in delivering training programs.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to support the delivery of complex initiatives.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 5+ years’ experience in privacy legal, DPO or compliance role.
- Proven ability to advise on privacy requirements for new initiatives.
- Experience with data protection impact assessments.
- Knowledge of global privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Ability to work independently and manage relationships across functions.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong legal or compliance background.
- Experience in privacy at a financial institution.
- Familiarity with the three lines of defense model.
- Privacy certifications such as CIPP-E, CIPP-M, and CIPP.
- Understanding of AdTech and online tracking regulations.
