For Companies We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers for day work roles in our depot in Hoddesdon. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores, from 8 to 15 drops per day with tail lift and cages.
Must have experience and Class 1 license a minimum of 1 year for insurance purposes. Immediate starts for successful candidates. Monday to Friday days. Various start times available.
Day pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £17.83 per hour
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
What we are looking for:
- In date DIGI and CPC card.
- 1 year Class 1 experience.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
- Willing to work weekends.
- Motivated and open to learn new skills.
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
Your role:
- Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
- Completing vehicle checks.
- The driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
