This is a strategic and hands-on opportunity for an experienced Data Architect to lead the development of a robust, scalable data architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You’ll be responsible for defining the platform strategy, leading a team of data engineers, and ensuring high standards of data quality, compliance, and performance across enterprise-grade data environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement enterprise-level data architecture strategies on GCP.
- Gather client requirements and translate business challenges into scalable data solutions.
- Act as a trusted expert on GCP data and AI solutions, both internally and with client stakeholders.
- Design and deliver scalable architectures across data lakes, pipelines, AI/ML models, and real-time analytics.
- Work in collaboration with Google Cloud teams, ensuring alignment to best practices and cutting-edge services.
- Build reusable assets, accelerators, and frameworks to drive project delivery and consistency.
- Lead a team of data engineers through implementation phases, ensuring alignment to architectural best practices.
- Proven experience working with Google Cloud (GCP) on major data or AI transformation projects.
- Proven track record in designing and maintaining large-scale data warehouses and data lakes.
- Expertise in GCP data services including BigQuery, Composer, Dataform, DataProc, and Pub/Sub.
- Strong programming experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data quality frameworks.
- Proficiency with BI/reporting tools such as Looker or PowerBI.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Google Cloud Professional certifications.
- Experience in alternative cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or AWS.
