We know that life can be complicated for everybody. But some of us are stopped from working towards our dreams. Many learning disabled people won’t be heard about the support they’d like. Some won’t get to decide what they do for work or how to spend or save their money. Many won’t get to try out the new hobbies they’d love to try. But you can change all that.

What we offer you

  • Where you’ll be working: New Malden
  • Type of service: 8 Bed Residential Services
  • Location: Thetford Rd, New Malden KT3 5DN
  • Your salary: £12.77 per hour
  • Your working hours: 37.5 hours. Working a combination of early shifts, late shifts and every other weekend. Sleep ins at the service are £31.00 plus 12.07%
  • Generous Holidays: 33 days of annual leave (including eight days statutory bank holidays).
  • Pay incentives: 10% overtime allowance, 20% Bank Holiday allowance, 50% for key dates over Christmas.
  • Training & development: Earn money while you get a fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care.

What you’ll be doing

Every day is different. You may be supporting someone to plan their weekly shop, going on an outdoor adventure, providing everyday personal care or supporting someone to go to their favourite gig. You could be building someone’s confidence in using public transport or teaching money management skills. What’s important is supporting people to discover new interests, achieve new goals and maintain important relationships with their family and friends.

You’ll provide the highest possible standard of care and support for learning disabled adults. Listening to their wants and needs, enabling people to do daily tasks such as taking medication, cooking a meal or working with them to build their confidence and take on new adventures they are longing for. All this while working a variety of shifts to support your work and home life balance.

It’s great if you have a full driving licence but it’s not a deal breaker. We can’t wait to meet you at our Surrey services! Find your place with us and change lives.
