About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Junior Print Engineer to join our growing team. This is an ideal role for someone with a passion for technology, an eye for detail, and a desire to learn the ins and outs of print systems. You will assist in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of printing equipment at client sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of printers, copiers, MFDs (multi-function devices), and other print hardware.
  • Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance tasks under supervision.
  • Respond to first-line support requests and escalate complex issues as required.
  • Assist with diagnosing hardware/software issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Keep accurate service records and complete job sheets.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Keep up to date with emerging print technologies and training.

Requirements

  • Good IT literacy – confident with Windows OS and common office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A full UK driving licence (field-based roles).
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and ICT.
  • Previous experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk environment.
  • Aware of Managed Print Services (MPS).
