Female Support Worker Nuneaton ESS

To provide care and support to a determined young lady who has an acquired brain injury with complex care needs.

You will work in the person’s own home and undertake a wide range of duties including personal care and supporting with and promoting the rehabilitation including physiotherapy and speech and language therapy. Enabling the client to access leisure and community activities and willingness to accompany and support on family holidays may also be part of the role.

The role requires sensitivity to the clients needs (and those of her family) and to work in partnership with therapists and other professionals, to meet her needs and to support her rehabilitation progression.

Applicants should be aware that the client has a pet cat and dog and therefore some duties around pet care will be required.

Hours of work:

36 hours per week including days and weekends

Rate of pay:

1. Weekdays: £16.50 per hour
2. Saturdays: £17.50 per hour
3. Sundays: £18.50 per hour
4. Bank Holiday weekday: £22.50 per hour

Applicants must have a full driving licence and will be expected to drive the clients vehicle.

Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
