Supervising Tree Surgeon Location : Red Lodge, IP28 8TD (located between Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge) Salary : £37,500 to £42,500 per annum Contract : Full-time, permanent Benefits : 28 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day every 2 years up to a maximum of 33 days after 10 years’ service. Pension scheme. All company clothing and PPE provided. Overtime paid at 1.5 times the agreed hourly for any hours over 45 per week. Double time and attendance fee for call outs. About Us S.P. We heavily invest in equipment, ensuring that we have the right machinery for the job, and training, ensuring that our tree surgeons have a full and diverse set of qualification, so that we can complete any task. The Role S.P. Landscapes & Tree Contractors is looking for a qualified and experienced Tree Surgeon to take on a Team Leader role within the business! The role will require the individual to manage their own team and help others to progress, so that they can further their ability. The successful candidate must be motivated, hardworking, and have a good knowledge of trees and good pruning practices. We are looking for an individual that can provide efficiencies within the business and suggest practical onsite improvements to continually progress and improve the high standard of works we deliver. What we need from you As a minimum, any applicants must hold a full driving license and all relevant chainsaw and climbing related qualifications, as well a safe use of a Mewp; Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm Accessing a Tree Using a Rope and Harness Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw Using Free-fall Techniques All Personal Protective Equipment and Health & Safety training to be provided by the company.
