Additional benefits: £25 per night allowance (additional £5200 per annum), accommodation and travel paid, company vehicle, fuel card (including private use), all travel time and expenses from home to site paid, scope for internal progression.

The Duties:

• Diagnose faults, service, and carry out emergency repairs/breakdowns on plant and forklift machinery.
• Collaborate with customers and handle products, working independently and with colleagues to ensure proper documentation and solutions.
• Travel to sites, perform repairs, and create solutions for engines, batteries, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical/mechanical faults.

The Requirements:

• Previous experience in the forklift industry (essential).
• Experience with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems (essential).
• Experience working with engines and batteries (essential).
• Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and servicing experience.
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous).
• Full UK driver’s license.
