A leading company within the UK food manufacturing industry are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. Salary Β£46,000 to Β£54,000 inclusive of shift allowance.
What You Will Do:
β Lead your team during breakdowns, applying your skills and experience to resolve issues efficiently.
β Carry out preventative maintenance and take corrective action to ensure machinery operates at its best.
β Respond quickly to breakdowns across multiple factory areas, identifying root causes and suggesting improvements.
β Communicate effectively with the Engineering Shift Manager and operations team to minimise disruptions.
β Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety while following good engineering practices.
β Use the CMMS system for spare parts management and job logging to ensure smooth operations.
What You Will Bring:
β Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical disciplines (BTEC & NVQ L3, HNC, HND).
β Proven engineering experience, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar fast-moving environment.
β Strong mechanical fitting skills and the ability to fault-find on process machinery.
β A self-motivated, proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities.
β A passion for continuous improvement and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
