As an Engineering Manager, you\’ll lead people and projects, build great products, and grow your team. You will translate partial requirements into actionable plans, dive deep into technology, and remove obstacles. Your skills in hiring, developing talent, and fostering diverse perspectives will be vital. You will challenge decisions respectfully, advocate for your team, and align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering requests and outcomes, collaborating with Product Management to define scope and deliverables.
• Estimate efforts, create project plans, and ensure high-quality releases.
• Prioritize initiatives, balance technical debt, and develop new features.
• Facilitate technical discussions, stay updated on mobile security trends, and incorporate them into team practices.
• Manage direct reports through hiring, mentoring, setting objectives, and providing feedback.
• Promote a culture of autonomy, resilience, respect, and continuous improvement.
• Handle customer escalations and participate in budget planning.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor\’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams; 10+ years in software/data engineering.
• 4+ years programming in multiple languages.
• Strong communication skills and experience with complex systems and agile practices.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in C, C++.
• Understanding of security principles and secure coding.
• Strong analytical skills; reverse engineering/debugging knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in mobile app development tools (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio) is beneficial.
