Driver/Yard Operative

TRC Northeast is actively seeking Drivers/Yard Operatives to join our esteemed automotive manufacturing client located in Washington/Sunderland.

The position entails working in a Yard/Car Park setting, where various responsibilities related to the movement and organization of vehicles will be undertaken.

Opportunities for both full-time and Ad-Hoc employment are available.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate a diverse range of cars and vehicles within the facility.
2. Maintain effective communication with colleagues and supervisors.
3. Efficiently manage the yard space.
4. Assist delivery drivers with vehicle readiness.

Required Qualifications:

1. Prior experience in personal or commercial driving roles.
2. Excellent communication abilities.
3. A valid full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, with optional weekend overtime available. Shifts are from 07:00 am to 15:18 pm and 16:00 pm to 00:18 am. Overtime rates are 1.5 times for Saturdays and double for Sundays.
