• Salary Range: £74,250 – £82,500 (plus target bonus, equity, and benefits)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Liquidity Risk Manager to lead risk management initiatives across Coinbase’s Prime Brokerage platform. The ideal candidate will design and implement liquidity risk frameworks, monitor contingent liabilities, influence product design, and contribute to strategic decision-making in a dynamic digital asset environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and manage liquidity risks related to trading, financing, custody, staking, and prime brokerage services
• Design and enforce a comprehensive liquidity risk framework across multiple legal entities
• Model liquidity outflows based on historical behavior and stress scenarios
• Monitor liquidity metrics, outflows, and limit breaches; escalate as needed
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, Operations, and other departments to mitigate risk during new product development
• Prepare and present liquidity risk reports to senior management
• Develop and implement policies to address both existing and emerging liquidity risks
• Support firm-wide liquidity stress testing and risk assessments

Qualifications:

Required:

• 7–10 years of experience in liquidity risk, collateral management, or rehypothecation at a global financial institution
• Deep understanding of prime brokerage and derivatives liquidity risk
• Familiarity with institutional clients such as hedge funds and asset managers
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Commercial mindset with a focus on pragmatic, data-driven solutions
