With highly specialized teams, industry-leading technologies and breakthrough creative, we help brands and businesses redefine reputation as a competitive advantage so they can lead today and into the future. When you work at Burson, you are part of a global community of lifelong learners who thrive at the edge of innovation.

In Studio, we create ideas and bring them to life. We’re a multi-disciplined team, creating content for integrated marketing campaigns, brand experiences and brand identity. We currently have a team of around 40; a mix of Creatives, Brand and Digital Designers, Editors and Content Producers and Creative Project Managers, supplemented by freelancers when specialist skills are needed or workload dictates. Everyone that succeeds here enjoys the diversity of clients and projects and is driven to do great work that will have a positive effect on our clients’ businesses.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll be predominantly responsible for managing any Fast Track briefs which come into the studio. Fast Track is a separate workstream to our main projects, so think quick turnaround social assets, creative artworking rather than design and briefs that require minimal creative input.
  • You’ll demonstrate excellent time management skills and are responsible for day-to-day workflow and resources for your projects.
  • You are proactive, permanently on the front foot communicating and ensuring the pipeline of work goes through the department seamlessly.
  • You champion our Studio processes and communicate clearly with all parties.
  • You develop and maintain strong relationships with internal sector teams, ensuring everyone knows what needs doing and how long they have to do it, flagging risks and ensuring everyone is updated daily.
  • You’ll work closely with the Resources team to ensure requirements are processed in a timely fashion.

Experience that contributes to success:

  • Client: Collaborate with our team of designers to help shape and deliver great work. Manage the workflow of multiple projects from initial estimation to final delivery through the department. Demonstrate strong open communication with project teams and ensure key stakeholders are kept up to date of deadlines and the overall project status. Continually assess the risks of your projects, offering solutions, working to resolve, and flagging any issues. Attend and contribute to weekly team, status and resource meetings.
  • Commercial: Set up all creative check-ins and approvals and ensure the status of your projects and the finances are reported regularly. Manage all financial aspects of projects including budget management, negotiation, and resource requirements. Scope projects of all sizes and ensure that deliverables align with the project scope, plan and budget. Demonstrate strong commercial awareness. Report weekly on the financial status of live and pipeline projects; reconcile all hours used to date and ensure accurate fees are billed monthly. Manage your resource requests so that they align with your project scopes and are properly phased to allow you to deliver within budget.
  • People & Culture: An overall collaborative partner; works as an integral part of a dynamic team, as well as independently. Support Burson cultural initiatives such as Equall, Roots, Parent network and Big Night In etc. Act as a Burson ambassador internally and externally, network and promote the teams and the agency. Demonstrate the H&K cultural behaviours across all areas: culture creator, master storyteller, technology speculator, idea catcher and campaign architect.
