Location: Based in York – covering services in North of England and Scotland
Salary: Up to £44,446.56 DOE + £4,700 car allowance
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Travel: Required, including occasional overnight stays
Are you an experienced Registered Manager in adult social care with a background in Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) support? Are you ready to step away from day-to-day operations and drive quality improvement across multiple services?
This role offers an exciting opportunity to use your expertise to lead on service quality and outcomes across a regional portfolio of care homes and services. You\’ll work closely with operational teams, focusing on standards, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct service reviews and audits across designated services
- Monitor and evaluate quality standards, identifying risks and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with service managers and regional teams to develop quality action plans
- Provide coaching and practical guidance to managers on improving care delivery
- Analyse data and incidents to generate learning and promote best practice
- Lead the use of Quality Improvement Plans and ensure alignment with governance frameworks
- Champion service user involvement in shaping care quality and service outcomes
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Experience as a Registered Manager within adult social care
- In-depth knowledge of CQC or other UK care regulatory frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in or supporting services with ABI care needs
- Full driving licence or with the ability to meet the travelling requirements of the post via public transport.
- Willingness to occasionally stay overnight during service visits
