Luna & Co Cleaning are a small, family run cleaning business covering North Lincolnshire including Scunthorpe, Brigg, Winterton and surrounding villages. We cover all areas of cleaning, including domestic, commercial, End of Tenancy and specialist services. We have big ambitions, not just in the growth of the company, but in re-setting the standards of the cleaning industry as a whole.

This vacancy is for a cleaning technician, working predominantly in the domestic and End of Tenancy side of the business. The role is for 10-15h per week, dependant on availability. As we continue to grow, additional hours may be available.

You will be delivering high standards of cleaning for our domestic clients throughout North Lincolnshire. This includes:

  • Regular weekly/fortnightly cleans
  • One-off Deep Cleans
  • End of Tenancy cleaning
  • Hoovering, Mopping & Dusting
  • General Tidying & Making Beds
  • Internal Window Cleaning
  • Oven Cleaning

Weekend work is rare, however staff need to be willing to work one weekend per month when required. We will also require some flexibility for evening work as and when required on a rota basis.

About You

Our cleaners need to be passionate about delivering high standards, every time. You don't need experience as an employed cleaner, as long as you're willing to learn. Full training will be provided. This is a physically demanding role, applicants must have some level of general fitness.

This is a driving role, applicants must hold a full UK driving license and have use of their own vehicle. Applicants will also be responsible for ensuring their vehicle is insured for business use.

Salary & Benefits

Starting from £11.60ph. Enhanced rate for Deep Cleans. Travel time is paid at minimum wage, with an additional 25p per mile. Opportunity for the right candidate to train in Biohazardous Cleaning Services including - Mould Removal, Needle Sweeps, Trauma & Crime Scene Cleaning & Hoarded property support. This is subject to successful assessment of suitability for this type of work. Hourly rate for these cleans will be upwards of £17ph.
