World Horse Welfare, the leading international horse charity, promotes horse welfare worldwide. The charity actively supports the use of horses in sport and works to improve the lives of horses in the UK and overseas through education, campaigns, and hands-on work.

Volunteering at Bath Racecourse

Join us for a day of volunteering at Bath Racecourse! This in-person event will take place at the beautiful Bath Racecourse, where you can lend a helping hand and give back to a local animal welfare charity.

In return for a day at the races, we are looking for a team of amazing supporters to collect donations at various points around the racecourse.

Over the past year, we have seen a 19% increase in welfare enquiries and as a result, our four rescue and rehoming centres are near capacity.

The persistent poor weather means that we aren’t expecting it to get any better any time soon as horses struggle in mud-soaked fields with little grazing.

It is only through our phenomenal support network that we are able to carry on, and days like this create an invaluable boost to not only our fundraising but also our local profile.
