Home Property Claims Handler – salary £23,900 – £27,300 (guaranteed increase to £25,100 – £28,500 effective 1st April 2025); depending on hours, skills and experience.

A bit about the job:
Our Claims Handlers handle insurance claims with the maximum efficiency and minimum fuss, in a modern and welcoming office environment. Primarily a phone-based role, you will manage home claims efficiently and empathetically from start to resolution. You will handle incoming calls, guide customers through the claims process, gather necessary information, in order to assess claims in line with policies and procedures, ensuring we reach the best outcomes for our customers.

Working Hours:
- Shift patterns covering the hours of 8am-9pm Monday to Friday and 8am-8pm Saturday and Sunday.
- Our current rotation is one late shift every 2nd week and 1 weekend day every 3rd weekend.
- Average of 35 hours p/week over 5 days.
- You will be required to be flexible with these hours as shifts for this role are on a rota basis.
- We are also open on Bank Holidays.
Skills and experience we\’re looking for:
- Positive attitude and strong desire to meet customers\’ needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
- The ability to listen and reason empathetically.
- Flexible attitude towards change and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good level of IT skills to navigate systems.

- Starting salary of £23,900 (guaranteed increase to £25,100 from 1st April).
