In the heart of Brent, an \’Outstanding\’ Secondary School is seeking a Business & Economics Teacher / ECT for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time position.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Business & Economics Teacher / ECT eager to contribute to an expanding Secondary Department. The school is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

Experienced teachers may have opportunities to take on TLR roles such as KS3 Coordinator or Pastoral Responsibilities. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) will benefit from a bespoke ECT induction program and collaborate with both new and experienced teachers.

Job Description

1. Secondary Teacher / ECT

6. Start: September 2025 – Full Time, Permanent
7. Salary: MPS1-UPS3 + TLR (depending on experience)
8. Location: Borough of Brent

Person Specification

1. UK QTS or in the process of gaining it
2. Strong academic background: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs
3. Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards at a \’Good\’ or \’Outstanding\’ level
4. Ability to work well within a large team
5. Willingness to accept feedback
