We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Senior Director of Workplace to lead our global facilities operations. This role will oversee workplace services, site operations, space planning, sustainability initiatives, and facilities strategy to support a dynamic and innovative organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a proven ability to align facilities management with business goals, delivering an exceptional employee and visitor experience across our offices.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a long-term facilities strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on real estate and workplace trends.
  • Lead site selection, lease negotiations, and capital improvement projects in partnership with real estate and finance teams.
  • Ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance of all facilities, including office spaces, data centers, and other critical environments.
  • Oversee vendor management, including janitorial, maintenance, security, and utilities.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to assess operational performance and employee satisfaction.
  • Lead space planning initiatives, including moves, expansions, and redesigns, to support business needs.
  • Champion an engaging, sustainable, and inclusive workplace environment.
  • Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Drive sustainability programs, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and carbon footprint initiatives.
  • Explore and implement innovative solutions to enhance workplace efficiency and the employee experience.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex facilities operations across multiple geographies.
  • Strong understanding of real estate, workplace design, and sustainability principles.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage budgets exceeding $50M.
  • Excellent project management and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with experience in influencing at the executive level.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor senior leaders on strategic workplace issues.
  • Tremendous emotional intelligence and great judgment make you a trusted partner of SIE business leaders, an inspirational leader to your team, and a trusted coach to senior candidates.
  • Confirmed analytical mentality- using data to tell stories and drive decisions; you seek to understand and solve a problem, you instinctively ask for the data.
  • Proven track record to influence and run a budget and vendors.
