Accountancy & Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a highly reputable firm of accountants who, as a result of continued growth and success within the business, are currently looking to recruit an ambitious Personal Tax Assistant / Personal Tax Semi Senior to join the team in their Birkenhead office.
As a Personal Tax Semi Senior your role will involve working with a wide variety of personal tax clients including HNWIs, company directors and sole traders for whom you will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns.
The ideal candidate may be ATT Part Qualified or Fully Qualified and will have a wealth of experience in Personal Tax work, either from a solely tax focused role or from a mixed accounts and tax position with a desire to specialise in tax. Working within this established firm in Birkenhead there will be ample scope for career development as well as study support for the successful individual to complete the ATT and progress to the CTA qualification in time.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Management of a small portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
- Preparation of personal tax computations and returns
- Reviewing tax computations prepared by accounts staff when required
- Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts
Skills:
- ATT Qualified / Part Qualified
- Personal Tax compliance experience within a practice environment
