Salary: up to GBP40,000 per annum

My client is a large facilities and maintenance company who operates in various sites across the commercial sector. They are currently looking for an experienced maintenance electrician to join an established team on a mobile site in Fife. This role is full time, permanent with 40 hours per week, a mixture of shifts during the day.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out technical repairs and PPM's, planned and reactive maintenance across a number of site locations.
  • Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date at all times.
  • Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and ensure swift resolution.
  • Deliver reactive and planned alarm system maintenance.
  • Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs.
  • Follow purchase order process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Be part of a 24/7 call out rota.

Applicants for the role must possess the following:

  • Fully qualified electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, SVQ Level 3 City & Guilds, AM 2).
  • 18th edition or 17th Edition.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a commercial setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns as required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to obtain DBS before joining the job.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
