Salary: £22,925 pro rata, £12.24 per hour / 14.4 hours per week / Permanent

Would you like to work for the charity that cares for hundreds of historic sites in every corner of England? With 14 main garden sites and dedicated garden teams, we are looking for a Gardener to join our team at Kenilworth Castle & Elizabethan Gardens. This is a part-time role working 14.4 hours per week.

We are looking for someone with a passion for gardens to assist with the presentation and maintenance of Kenilworth Castle's gardens, including the beautifully recreated Elizabethan Garden. The main activities involved with this role will include general garden maintenance using both hand tools and machinery, supporting our team of volunteers, and ensuring that the standards of the gardens are maintained to be presentable to the public.

As a Gardener, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our gardens are well maintained and presented as wonderful places to spend time in. You'll contribute to bringing to life the stories that our gardens tell, helping visitors of all ages make new discoveries.

Minimum Requirements:

You will be qualified to at least NVQ level 2 standard in amenity horticulture and have previous experience of working in a high-quality horticultural establishment. You will work to high standards and be effective and efficient when working on your own or as part of the wider team.
