DOF's core businesses are vessel ownership, vessel management, project management, engineering, vessel operations, survey, remote intervention and diving operations primarily for the oil and gas sector. The Company's main operation centres and business units are located in Norway, the UK, the USA, Singapore, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Angola, and Australia. This position reports to the Marketing and Communications Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content to showcase the company's onshore and offshore activities, including subsea projects, vessel operations, and corporate initiatives. Capture and produce engaging visuals for internal and external use, aligning with the company's brand and 'Empowering Progress' messaging.
  • Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished videos, adding graphics, animations, sound, and effects to enhance production quality. Ensure all materials meet technical specifications and maintain brand consistency.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Lead to develop creative concepts for promotional campaigns. Coordinate with departments such as sales, operations, and HR to produce tailored content for presentations, recruitment, and client engagement.
  • Photography and Asset Management: Capture high-resolution images for use in marketing materials, presentations, and social media. Maintain a well-organized library of digital assets, ensuring easy access for stakeholders.
  • Technical Expertise and Equipment Management: Operate and maintain professional-grade video, photography, and lighting equipment. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in videography and content creation.
  • Fieldwork: Travel to onshore and offshore project sites to document activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Work in challenging environments, such as vessels or remote locations, to capture critical footage.
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Partner with the Marketing and Communications Lead to brainstorm and implement creative ideas. Contribute to the development of content strategies to enhance audience engagement.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Film, Communications, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in professional videography, preferably in the subsea, maritime, or energy sectors.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop).
  • Strong storytelling ability with a keen eye for detail and composition.
  • Technical knowledge of cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and drones.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across teams.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience working in industrial, maritime, or offshore environments.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols for working on vessels or remote sites.
