You will be part of exciting client engagements, lead pre-sales activities and proposals, and be responsible for delivering our portfolio of technology solutions while maintaining deep executive-level client relationships.
As a leader, you will also coach and mentor junior team members and contribute to our go-to-market strategies by building the KPMG brand and establishing yourself as a leading advisor within our clients, market, and alliance partners.
The Cloud Director will have the following responsibilities:
- Be recognized as an expert in cloud transformation (including Hybrid & Multi-cloud) by the market and alliance partners.
- Contribute to developing our financial services market growth in cloud transformation with market-facing propositions and assets, enhancing both the KPMG and your personal brand.
- Build close relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders at financial services clients, focusing on business challenges, cloud transformation, and their overall technology journey.
- Lead business development initiatives, shaping and selling complex advisory and implementation services around cloud transformation.
- Oversee programme delivery, outcomes, and resources in large transformation projects.
- Design and develop roadmaps, strategies, transformation plans, and high-quality assets for cloud solutions, collaborating with delivery managers, sales teams, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of new services and the growth of our team.
The Person:
- Excellent consulting skills with the ability to present complex solutions to executives; experience in large consulting firms is a plus.
- Proven business development experience, including leading client proposals and RFPs for cloud projects.
- Ability to build trusted advisor relationships with C-level stakeholders to guide their cloud journey.
- Experience with application migrations, including target selection, infrastructure sizing, and familiarity with migration tools.
- Knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google), microservices, APIs, containers, cloud data models, and migration patterns.
- Experience working in regulated environments and understanding operational resilience best practices.
- Track record in leading large-scale cloud advisory engagements.
- Broad understanding of infrastructure, network, database, cloud operating models, risks, controls, security, DevOps, Agile, and testing for cloud platforms.
- Ability to shape comprehensive, long-term cloud strategies.
- History of exceeding sales and profitability targets in consulting.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to inspire teams and develop client relationships.
- Growth mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Collaborative working style and self-motivation.
- Team-oriented and adaptable to diverse cultures.
