Park Lane Windows & Nu-Look Conservatory Roof Solutions have an excellent reputation and are now proud to be one of the leading installers of replacement windows, doors and conservatory roof conversions in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire and Warwickshire.
We are looking for a new Finance Manager to join us in a broad-ranging role managing the financial and day-to-day business support operations, ensuring processes are consistent with service delivery standards. The successful applicant will be working closely with the Managing Director to provide ongoing commentary on financial and business performance, delivering accurate financial forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities. You will take ownership and manage other key areas within the business including company insurances, relevant certifications/accreditations and supply chain.
Responsibilities- Management of the Finance Manager and team
- Oversee up-to-date financial information, including spending/cost, payroll, VAT submission, Management reports etc.
- Checking and challenging information and processes.
- Review processes and drive changes in information and systems that will affect the rest of the business.
- Overview purchasing, stock/stock control.
- Set up department budget and cost control and review against trading performance.
- Help drive the commercial aspects of the business.
- Ensure regular reporting on sales orders/targets/quotes.
- Support existing and new business tenders and contracts.
- Drive implementation of systems and structures to support/improve efficiencies.
- Company insurance - review and renewals
- Purchasing and supply chain management
- Ensure relevant Certification/Accreditations are up to date. Oversee management of associated audits.
- Previous experience in a similar operations/commercial manager or commercial finance role (preferably 5 yearsβ experience)
- Strong understanding of finance, budgets/forecasting
- Experience in strategy and business planning
- Ability to monitor, suggest or improve systems and processes to drive efficiencies.
