Warehouse operative – Picker Our client based in Spalding is looking for pickers to join their growing team to start ASAP! If you can get to our busy depot in Spalding (by car or on foot), you’ll be picking products primarily in a chilled environment. The Spalding site is one of the largest in their Temperature Controlled Distribution network. No experience necessary – full training will be given! Role of a warehouse operative (Picker) Receiving and inspecting deliveries of goods and supplies; Checking for damaged or missing items in received shipments; Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards] Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles using manual handling techniques; Moving and storing products within the warehouse using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts; Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently; Managing inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and replenishing shelves; Maintaining a clean and organized work environment; Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment
