Location:

West Midlands, Shropshire, Ludlow

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time hours

Salary:

£11 – £23 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
• Help with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs
• Assist with medical procedures as directed
• Ensure patients\’ comfort and safety
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families

Required Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
• Valid DBS check
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of patient care principles
• Basic medical terminology knowledge
• Ability to follow instructions accurately
• Good problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
• First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

• Shift work may be required
• Exposure to patients with various medical conditions
• Physical demands such as lifting and standing for long periods
• Adherence to strict hygiene protocols
