Tool Fitter

The Tool Fitter is responsible for the service and maintenance of company assets, preparing equipment ready for hire and sale, and remedying issues with equipment.

Knowledge of small tools is essential; knowledge of electrics and generators is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Providing full operational support to all areas of the business.
2. Confirm hire availability with the sales team for incoming enquiries.
3. Maximise all hire opportunities to assist with hire utilisation.
4. Track & record plant numbers onto a system and confirm hires in a timely manner.
5. Liaise with the relevant coordinator to inform them of potential issues with equipment availability.
6. Perform service & maintenance and repair on equipment.
7. Monitor equipment available in the depot and ensure we have a range of equipment available for hire.
8. Complete stock audits as requested, feeding back to management and Quality Team.
9. Maintain excellent levels of housekeeping, ensuring areas are free from waste and trip hazards.

Must hold a current driving licence.

Salary is £30-40k depending on experience.

May come with a work van if needed.

Will involve going out to external breakdowns.
