Mobile Body Repair Technician

Mobile Body Repairer – Paint, Panel & MET – Required in North London

Our automotive client is a Mobile Vehicle Body Repair Company focusing on reliable, high-quality, and fast same-day mobile body repair and maintenance services to businesses and consumers across the UK. Collaborating with many large hire car companies and boasting a platform with over 60,000 registered customers and 60+ business clients, they are at the forefront of transforming the automotive repair industry.

The role involves working on a mobile basis, completing tasks such as painting, panel work, and mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) repairs on vehicles. You will be on the road daily, visiting private and business customers to perform high-quality cosmetic vehicle repairs.

Details & Benefits of this Mobile Body Repairer role:

• Starting basic salary: £40,000 per annum.
• An uncapped bonus scheme earning technicians £24,000 per year on average, with top performers earning up to £30,000 annually. Total OTE ranges from £64,000 to £70,000 per year.
• Full-time, Monday to Friday; weekend overtime is optional.
• Company van with personalized workshop equipment.
• Well-organized diary with jobs scheduled 4-6 weeks in advance.
• Company tablet and PPE kit.
• Company pension scheme.
• Ongoing training, including Cosmetic Repair IMI Accreditation.
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata).

Requirements for Mobile Body Repairer:

• Minimum of 2 years\’ experience in painting, panel, and MET repairs.
• Good knowledge and application of fillers.
• Proficiency with pin-pulling equipment.
• Multi-skilled with a willingness to work long hours if necessary.
• Confidence in painting large jobs and making accurate blends.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-facing experience.
• Prepared to travel daily and work outdoors.
• Excellent time management skills.
