Salary: £11.90 per hour plus £60 sleep in rate (2 on 4 off shift pattern)

Exceptional Care are seeking individuals to support young people on a 1:1 or 2:1 staffing ratio in a residential setting.
TasksYour role as a Residential Child Care Worker:
- You will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people, helping to meet their practical, physical, and emotional needs while safeguarding each young person at all times.
- You will provide a high standard of care and support in a professional manner to vulnerable young people with challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties.
- You will develop good working relationships with both children and young people and other outside agencies, being a trusted person for each child through building positive relationships.
- You will be part of a team that works together to create a loving, stable environment to ensure each young person achieves positive outcomes and learning experiences.
- Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent – or willing to work towards
- 1 year’s experience supporting young people in a children’s residential setting
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence - preferred
