As a Payroll Administrator at FCC Environment, you will ensure the accurate and timely payments of salaries, wages and expenses to employees. You will ensure the Data Protection Act and statutory requirements are adhered to at all times.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week Monday to Friday; however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?
- Complete weekly/monthly payrolls
- Ensure all timesheets, overtime, expense claims and any other payroll documentation have been processed
- Meet processing deadlines
- Ensure that NIC and PAYE deductions are made
- Conduct the recording and manual calculation of SSP and company sick pay
- Calculate any maternity or paternity payments due to employees
- Ensure all claim forms received from employees are appropriately authorised
- Manage bonus payments, pension deductions, and AEO deductions
- Check payrolls to ensure that processing is correct
What are we looking for?
- Knowledge and practical experience of payroll, including manual calculations of gross to net, tax coding notices, benefits in kind, statutory/contractual/voluntary deductions, and RTI/Auto enrolment legislation
- A good understanding of Microsoft Excel including V-Lookups and formulas
