With a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction, we are now looking to expand our team and have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Panel Wirer to join us at our Nuneaton-based facility.

Junior Panel Wirer - The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels and equipment under supervision.
  • Performing tasks such as crimping cables, soldering, fitting components, and using battery-powered hand tools (e.g., drills, jigsaws).
  • Preparing and installing electrical components, including switches, relays, and terminals.
  • Following technical instructions and diagrams to ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Supporting the team to meet project deadlines and maintain high levels of workmanship.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • A basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring (training will be provided for beginners).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams (advantageous but not essential - full training offered).
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • A positive attitude, good problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Any previous experience in electrical work or an electrical qualification is beneficial but not required.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
