Junior Panel Wirer - The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels and equipment under supervision.
- Performing tasks such as crimping cables, soldering, fitting components, and using battery-powered hand tools (e.g., drills, jigsaws).
- Preparing and installing electrical components, including switches, relays, and terminals.
- Following technical instructions and diagrams to ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
- Supporting the team to meet project deadlines and maintain high levels of workmanship.
Key Skills and Experience:
- A basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring (training will be provided for beginners).
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams (advantageous but not essential - full training offered).
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- A positive attitude, good problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Any previous experience in electrical work or an electrical qualification is beneficial but not required.
