The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

MRE operates a fleet of windfarm support vessels ranging from 21 – 26m LOA. As an Engineer, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Notifying the Master immediately of any defects which may detrimentally affect the ship’s or environmental safety.
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly condition of machinery spaces.
  • Ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of the ship's machinery, monitoring machinery performance at regular intervals to ensure all machinery is running within its specified limits.
  • Ensuring sufficient quantities of fuel, lubricating oils, and critical spares are on board for the safe completion of any intended voyage, while monitoring and recording the consumption of fuel and lubricants.
  • Supervising the bunkering of fuel and lubricating oils.
  • Preparing requests for shore labour assistance and supervising the work/repairs outside the scope of on-board personnel.
  • Preparing and maintaining records and reports of mechanical defects.
  • Assisting with the supervision of all major refits.
  • Monitoring and logging machinery running hours.
  • Carrying out mooring operations as required.
  • Assisting with cargo operations as required.
  • Assisting with storing, crane operations, etc., as required.
  • Assisting with other ship operations as directed, including refuelling of assets.
