Remuneration: £50,000 – £65,000 + performance related bonus

Benefits: Company car, pension, health care, & 20 days annual leaveThe role of the Contracts Manager – Flat Roofing Systems will involve:

• Contracts Manager position dealing with various flat roofing systems such as: bitumen membrane systems, single ply systems, hot melt waterproofing, cold applied liquid systems, insulation & green roofs

• Overseeing all aspects of the Contracts Team: management, surveying, financial, contractual, planning, leadership and communication
• Assisting with the preparation of quality bids, pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), and other presentations as required
• Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
• Responsible for accepting, approving, and issuing contracts and subcontracts
• Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget
• Conducting regular site visits to all projects to ensure that they are running smoothly
• Managing projects ranging in value from £100k up to circa £3m

The ideal applicant will be Contracts Manager – Flat Roofing Systems with:

• Must have Contracts Management experience within flat roofing market sector
• Experience dealing with Tier 1 contractors
• Must be confident in resolving any project related issues in a professional manor
• Must be an outgoing character who will be an integral part of the team
• Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Effective time management, leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
