Section Manager – Prepared (RTC)

We are looking for a proactive Section Manager with a passion for working collaboratively, driving team performance and who have a commitment to continuous improvement!
Due to continued growth within our Prepared foods division, we are looking for a Section Manager to join our busy RTC department. This role is important in the smooth running of the operation.
Shift pattern: Week 1 Wednesday and Thursday. Week 2 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Hours: 6am to Finish
Salary:Β£39,800 per annum
What you will be doing?

  • Manage all processes in your area to meet targets set by the business and to meet BRC, TFS, SMETA and other audit criteria.
  • Oversee and lead all production in your area
  • Labour planning and cost control (including agency workers)
  • Manage the team in your working area (size of team depends on area)
  • Drive profitability of production operation
  • Understand and implement allergen awareness and controls (RTC only)
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Manage customer service levels to agreed targets

What we want from you?

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing
  • Proven ability to lead teams and get results
  • Great understand of technical requirements
  • IOSH certified
  • Food safety level 3
