The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.
On a daily basis, you will be liaising with customers via email and telephone, as well as communicating with customs and port authorities.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure all documents received for customs purposes are accurate.
- Submit customs entries using ASM Sequoia in line with HMRC legislation.
- Respond promptly to queries, replying to all emails within 24 hours.
- Handle customs amendments and reclaims.
Experience required:
- 2+ years' experience in Air Import Customs Clearance.
- Good knowledge of CHIEF, CNS, and Destin8.
- Strong IT and systems skills, especially with Excel.
- Good understanding of Incoterms.
- Experience working with various operating systems.
- Understanding of different customs processes such as IP, returned goods, and home use.
- Good knowledge of customs procedures, primarily the HMRC tariff, CPCs, and preferences.
- Experience with NET Freight and Descartes systems.
