Quantity Surveyor / Estimator This growing contractor are in their sixth year of business and have hit healthy growth and have various opportunities, including a Quantity Surveyor position in their London office. Having already seen substantial growth over the last two years they are able to invest in further growth and look at a wider portfolio of work. Typically, they work on projects from £500k – £5m in value which come in the form of refurbishments of super prime, high net worth individuals’ homes, extensions and small new builds and fitouts. Sectors also include commercial offices, education, health and graded buildings. As a Quantity Surveyor for this main contractor, you will be responsible for up to 3 projects at any one time depending on the value and complexity. Your working week will be split between the office and sites, and you will report directly to the Commercial Director. This Quantity Surveyor role will also include some Estimating and preconstruction activities of which you will follow through the tender stage to site and completion. Your main role will be Quantity Surveying however, some estimating experience would be advantageous. This role will suit Quantity Surveyors with 5yrs post graduate experience, and you must have worked on projects within the sectors mentioned above.
