My client is a leading beauty brand seeking a results-oriented and commercially astute National Account Manager to oversee key retail partnerships and accelerate growth. The role involves managing relationships across prominent UK and European retail channels, driving strategic planning, and executing commercial initiatives to support brand performance.
Responsibilities
- Account Management: Oversee major retail accounts, fostering strong buyer relationships and securing new business across UK and international markets. Lead negotiations on pricing, promotions, and commercial terms.
- Sales & Analysis: Own account-level P&L, track performance, analyse sales trends, and provide actionable insights. Manage forecasting and ensure stock availability in collaboration with supply chain.
- Planning & Forecasting: Deliver accurate sales forecasts, align inventory with demand, and work closely with distribution partners to support fulfilment.
- Commercial Strategy: Drive margin optimisation, manage trade spend and investments, and negotiate placements, marketing, and third-party services.
- Retail & Brand Execution: Partner with trade marketing to ensure strong in-store and online execution. Present new product launches and identify growth and efficiency opportunities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years managing a key health and beauty retail account.
- Ideally experienced with major UK retailers and strong exposure to online/e-commerce platforms.
- Previous team leadership experience is a plus.
- Experience working with grocery and European retail markets is desirable.
- Strong relationship management and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint to support insights and presentations.
- Highly organised and adaptable in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
